I think Rocket has mentioned before to do 4.

Front, back and both sides.

Thanks I didn't know that but it makes sense. Personally that's what I would do if I had one thanks for the info on accuracy to the show

They have been gluing the two pieces together on the show... Basically making it a one piece.

If you don't want to Velcro it together, gluing them would still be accurate to the show.

If you do Velcro, Rockey said front, back, and both sides should do it.

Hey Rocketeer! Sorry if this comes across as pushy, but I wasn't sure if you're able to read all your PMs and i'm kinda eager. Would you still be able to make a one piece, blank, yellow cowl? The one i'm talking about is the type of cowl The Flash used in the first few episodes, the one piece with the hidden zippers. I believe you make them out of silicone? I'm not sure if anyone makes them, so i'm really interesting in purchasing one

Your looking for a Reverse Flash cowl? I make an actual Reverse Flash..which is completely different than the Flash.. and they are Urethan Rubber.. just read the first post of any of my threads.. all the info is in there

I think I posted this in the first post?

but the studio cuts the back up one it both sides and installs zippers. Some shots look like it's one side or the other. There's multipul cowls so I'm sure there's differences.

Mine arrived. Eeep!
Worth the wait and SO glad this run happened. @TheRocketeer did some great work as ususal.
Never prepped at cowl before... i did the weathering. Trimmed the eyes (my trimming sucks- any one have tips to clean my eye cuts up?)
And does anyone have tips on how to do the red circles on the ears?????? I'm not sure how to tackle that

Oh.... did I send you a cowl without the eyes trimmed out? I guess lack of sleep is getting to me..sorry about that.

The red...you can paint some latex rubber (get it at the art store) and paint on ether side of the circle..then use acrylic ink to paint the red on..might need several coats..if you have an airbrush even better.. then just peel the latex off..best way to mask rubber cowls

Would Mehron Liquid Latex be alright to use? That's an awesome tip! Might be even more useful for the rest of the lines in the top, back and neck

And thanks for saying about how each cowl has zippers in different places. Was going through episodes last night and found evidence to back that up

I thought it was just the left side but there is actually some with left and right side and also some just down the middle. I won't feel bad adding one down the middle so much because it is screen-accurate.

Now, to get an airbrush!

Looks great!
Currently working on my Flash! Altering it to fit my face and neck better. Found the perfect part on the jaw to cut and raise it up.
Problem is.. I cut it in a few unnecessary spots, while experimenting. Need to find a way to hide the seams, once re-glued.
Like a wood putty for rubber. Perhaps more rubber lol
Then, the neck will get a zipper down the middle and, if need be, one on either side. I will be down-sizing that too so might need more room for my head.
But I will be getting a finished Reverse in a few weeks hopefully Can't wait to share the finished pieces!
