Cutting on the pepakura lines

I've not done a paper PEP before (and only did my first foam thing about a week ago), and I will suggest that as long as you leave enough material for the tabs, you should be OK. If what I actually did even counts as PEP, it is a neat way to create complex 3D shapes. I didn't really enjoy super gluing my fingers though.

i do shortcuts like that all the time, its not a big deal, the only time youd have problems with bad cut is if during assembly the folds have gaps or the area comes out a little deformed, i just fix with bondo in the end.

lets say it this way: cut in the flaps all you want. but stay on the lines where there are no flaps. otherwise you will have problems

Yeah flaps don't matter too much, but everything else you want to stay as accurate as possible. Sometimes you'll want bigger or smaller tabs depending on the situation.

When glue, stay in original "lines". If there is a gap, stick a piece of paper from inside to fill the hole. It'll be cover with bondo anyway.
