Cutting an MG-34 in HALF!

I just won an auction for Hyperfirm MG-34 on eBAY. However we have a tiny problem..CUSTOMS.

Item has to be shipped to Turkey all the way from states, so this makes me go hmm..

Does any one have any creative ideas to ship this darn thing without getting burned at the customs..?

Seriously I thought of making the seller cut the thing in half and ship it in seperate pieces, so that once I receive them I can put them back together (they have an armature inside for it to keep the shape) I this doable?

DO NOT have it cut in half....

I just received two hf Lewis Guns with no problem (I´m in Germany).
Just make sure to have the thing marked with a low value and delared as rubber toy...worked for me.

Are you afraid of it being held back due to it being a replica gun or because of the custom fees you´d have to pay?
