Custom Sam & Max Figure

Hi everyone! Wanted to show you that little thing I've been working on. The goal was to do a custom figure of Sam & Max, inspired by the first comics cover.

In fact, it's one of the first thing I printed when I received my 3D Printer (after a few Bilbo Baggins buttons inspired handles I sculpted in blender : https://www.therpf.com/forums/attac...4/?temp_hash=243fa2e2120b2abc00adab31ad3238d1). I confessed to have ripped the models from Telltale's game. Worked on it a bit, added a thing or two (a few detail mostly) and cut it in pieces.

Final pieces were modified though. I printed Sam's body in one piece.
So here's the result :

Globally, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but I wouldn't do it the same way next time. Think a bit more ahead of the print stage. Some area's were REALLY hard to sand and paint. Hat was way too thin, support in mouth were really hard to remove (finally did it), etc... One thing in certain, I have a lot more idea in mind.

Very cool! I became a fan of Sam and Max after the first game, then I went and found the Surfin' the Highway book. Very funny!
