Hi, I'm not sure where this belongs (please feel free to move if necessary)
I did this as a commission for a TV program which unfortunately fell through.
They wanted a large scale Ouija Board that could be used by a group of people at the same time. It measures roughly 14"x20" (which was the biggest the laser cutter would allow)
So I created this using timber-board- i designed the engravings using references from an illustrated bible and laser engraved it into the wood. Then it was waxed and buffed.
The planchette was made in the same way, except with MDF board and a clear piece of acrylic.
I've never made anything like this before but I thought I would post it anyway
