Custom Made McFly BTTF 2 Sneakers

I'm not sure if anyone saw this article, but I found it quite fascinating. A dude (member here??) commissioned a shoe maker to create a pair of McFLy Nike 2015s for his 500+ pair sneaker collection.

Though, for $4,000, you'd think they could have put some EL sheet in there.

Those look like crap! For $4000, these things are completely inaccurate:

1) Wrong fabric
2) Horrible stitching
3) Wrong sole
4) Wrong shape
5) No EL sheet in the NIKE logo
6) No Green, Red & Yellow lights near the heel

And this guy calls himself a fan? I guess accuracy doesn't matter to some...

Yeah - I think they look pretty good - better than some I've seen made.

These shoes are hand-made by a veteran with over 30 years of shoe making experience to match the pair worn by Michael J. Fox & is 100% wear-able & extremely comfortable :lol The shoe upper is constructed from grey lycra & the tongue white lycra. The screen accurate rubber out-sole comes in 2 separate parts; grey with molded turquoise specks & translucent bottom.

The shoe does not “self-lace” :lol but comes with removable Velcro front straps for easy wearing. Each side comes with EVA white back counter & side transparent rubber insert with 3 dimples. Unfortunately, the shoe maker can only make them in US size 9 :cry

First off welcome Mark. These are the best replicas out there. I have a question though, did Nike make you remove the logo and name? I notice that you used to sell these with the logo on them. Also I think you only live about 5 miles from me. I'm in El Segundo and I think you're is Redondo Beach right?

There was this guy selling a few pairs with rubber stick-on NIKE logos early last year (I believe he got them from the same shoe maker). My shoes don't come with any NIKE logos because I'm not going to infringe NIKE's trademark No, I'm from Singapore so you're in fact 1,000 of miles away from me :lol Well, PM me if you're interested in a pair :lol

I'm actually really confused.
I bought a pair of these last year - the ones with the light-up Nike logo and other NIke detailing.
The seller stated that he had commisioned a company to manufacter the shoes and he was the one to finish the detailing with the NIke logos and lights etc.
I want to know what ever happened to the versions of these great replicas with the missing detials???
My theory is that Nike DID contact the seller and what you see for sale now is the end result.
Too bad though - because the light-up Nike logo was 100% movie accurate and looks absolutely fantastic! Glad I have these in my collection...
