Scratch building my scope. Inspired by a zf-41 which I almost bought but figured I'd save the money and just make something from scrap material instead.

I went similar route, making a hybrid M19/ROTJ scope on my lathe.

Mine is all assembled, just staring at it for a few days to make sure I like it, then weathering, then done! In true OT style I tried to stick to found parts/greeblies save for the flash hider. Also totally raided my lightsaber parts stash for some cool details..

As a kid I always wanted the scope to be in line with the barrel ? But then I learned to love asymmetry

I thought I'd give it a go, with some vintage camera thumb screws and a weird barrel insert.
