CTU Badges?

Well, I don't hate this project. Only the most die-hard, frame-grabbing fan would know what the badge is actually supposed to say and I think that using badge number 24 is kind of clever. I'm looking forward to receiving mine.

As a collector of prop badges, etc. IMHO I think your badge is outstanding. Nice work.

I think I "accidentally" ordered a couple extra badges. Be on the look for a JY thread soon for the surplus stock.

I think they look fantastic, as is. I only dug up the frame grabs because someone mentioned that they had seen badge detail in those spots on the DVD. If they could have been changed, great, but no complaints from me. I can't wait to get the three I ordered. I have stated from the get-go what a great job you have done by undertaking this project. Thanks again.
 
Thanks for the kind words guys.

A bit of bad news. I checked on the status of the wallets arriving, and they're on backorder. Currently they're indicating May 5th as the date to ship to me. That'll be about another week to get to me so it may be three weeks from now before I'm able to start sending out the rest of the orders. I apologize for the repeated delays on this project, some have been completely my fault and some have been out of my hands.

Thanks for your continued patience folks, you won't be disappointed.
 
Been meaning to update everyone on this. The site I'm getting the wallets from is still backordered and currently shows the expected shipping date as May 15th. So roughly 2 weeks after that you should have your badge.

Sorry for the delays on all this, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
 
I know I'm a Johnny-come-lately on this one, but if there is a surplus badge, like bbabich I would happily take one off your hands :)

DAMMIT.... I just checked with the wallet place since they were supposed to ship my order yesterday, and AGAIN it's been pushed back a week and a half. We're now looking at May 25th for the wallets to ship at me, but I'm not gonna hold my breath this time.

More news as it develops.
 
I would contact the company you ordered these from and find out what the story is.

There is a LE and wallet supply place that I looked into for the BR badge run and I was warned by a few on this board and others that this company would post items as being in stock. Once you placed the order for the item they would then order from their supplier. Eventually my badge maker said he could pick up some really great wallets that were to my specs... it saved me an extra step so that is what I did.

I will have to look through some old emails tomorrow and see if I come up with a name... I will pm you with the info if I do. Regardless of my findings, I would call your supplier.

WOW. I've seen a double post before. But never an Octo-post before. cool. LOL.

I've yet to see true screen accurate CTU badges out there. I'm no expert, but I am a "24" geek like many-of-ya.

I'd LOVE to see scans.

I wish we could all do the free thing. Get 99% accurate graphics done and post them free to the world. Stop all these people from making a profit opff of something that FOX owns. Not that the badges are a HUGE deal. but afeter the years of X-Files mumbo jumbo that went on over the badges, would be cool to see them posted free to the world. I'll see what I can do to get accurate badges and do that.
 
Well bad news, another delay. I have an angry e-mail into their customer service department. Meanwhile I contacted another supplier, but they are also out of stock for that wallet and would have to contact the wallet manufacturer directly. This seems to indicate that the wallet manufacturer is out of stock on this wallet currently, so there may be nothing I can do to speed up the process currently. I sincerely apologize again for these delays. Estimated ship date is currently June 6th.

Believe me guys, I'm more frustrated than you about this.
