If anyone in the Indianapolis area is looking for a good deal on modeling supplies, check out Tom Metzlers Hobby on the south side. It's off of Meridian and Southport (respectively.) The owners are retiring and they are closing shop. Right now it's 30% off of everything in the store.

I've pretty much cleaned them out of Styrene, but glues, terrain, model kits, display cases, paints, brushes, electronics, cutters, and things that I have yet to identify a use for can still be bought there. I have no idea when they will officially close their doors.

I've been going and and buying up what I can as my wife allows me to. :)

I've bought so much extra modeling stuff these past few weeks I had to go and buy a new set of storage drawers to keep it all in.

What all did they have left in the way of kits? Any of the big polar lights Enterprise As left?

Thanks.

Nope, the only model kits they had left of the Trek variety were some birds of preys - no electronics - not sure of the maker/quality as I have never been interested in them. They had some batmobiles and som starwars models left too. Mostly they have trains, military, and cars.

But their modeling supplies is why I always sent. Tons of adhesives specialty cutters and paints and applicators, hard to find styrene in wierd shapes, inexpensive diplay cases and bases, simple light up electronics for scratch building, magazines, and modeling contests.

Well, the contests are over now but there's plenty of crap you can still get there.
