Count Dooku Utility Belt Replica

A good friend of mine commissioned me to do this belt. Sounds good but I did not have enough reference material, just the Dressing a Galaxy book and the Star Wars Fact File (Spanish Version) encyclopedia. So, I put the DVD and took some screen captures. Guess I did it pretty well cause I discovered a few details that I did not know. So, here is it how I started:

the rectangles are not fixed. The owner will be able to slide them and adjust them. Don't know If the original was made that one really.

then I found this way to the rectangles, which I think looks very accurate. And this is how it looks finished:

You're right, it does look pretty accurate. But you gotta wonder, what's the pourpose of the two leather squares with the rectangles on them? Just decoration or another pourpose?

Could be, they look like blades to me. But, they are purely decorative. You will never know If he is hiding some Sith artifact there. :$
