Costuming to an extreme...

I bet there's a whole slew of people who think collecting replica movie props is lame too. It comes down to..If it hurts no one then who the F cares? The guy likes it obviously and thats the only thing that matters.

:thumbsup

I don't think too much of it. OTOH, if you could make them blades, make them retractable, and anchor them to a reinforced skeleton, I'd be all over that.

They can think collecting movie props is lame all they want. I can think that putting big ass spikes through your hand temporarily is stupid and lame all I want as well.

I just think thats ridiculous. No one has to like what I do either.

I don't have an issues with extreme body modifications, they don't offend or disgust me, but those spikes are dumb.

Just a statement of opinion.

If the subject of the photo wants to complain about prop geeks on a body modification discussion forum, he has my blessing. ;)

Im guessing he didnt get enough attention at home, thats how freaks can be, my .02 cents. At least he can get a job at a goth store.

I can understand it being tacky, but it's not exactly appalling

As a matter of fact, most of the comments here are making me want to go hang out with the claw dude instead of reading your guys' posts

No kidding. Pretty daring and a little more original than most of the pierced.

You'd have every right to. And he has every right to do what he did. And those of us who want to mock him have that right as well.

I would think it'd be too much temptation to use them, which would lead to a lot of tearing, bleeding, and pain.

Mocking is a right now? Man, I must remember that...

Look I know its extreme and not everyones cuppa, but honestly, must we always post so negatively when it doesn't even affect us? Who the firetruck cares, honestly? But, seeing the negative comments, apparently many of you do really care. Calling him lame 'cause of that? massive stretch...calling him a freak is a tad overboard. I bet there are more then a few members on the RPF who'd have what could be considered "lame" BM (not bowel movements either. ;) ) and maybe there are those on here who you'd call a 'freak' if they passed you on the street. Sometimes I have a tendency to label, we all do, but I think that we all need some good manner correction every now and then...Lets just cut the nastiness for once. Is this possible?
