Costumes that would suit my body type

Hey guys,

I'm 16 and my other costumes have been things like Animated Clone Trooper, Iron Man, Tusken Raider, Bith Musician and now doing Deadpool.

For my next costume I want to do a character that is like my age/body. I'm 6ft and my body is muscley but like sort of Spider Man muscley as I'm an apprentice greenkeeper.

The only characters I can think of is Robin and Kid Flash. Also I don't think I look old enough and/or big enough to do Nightwing.

I also want to venture out to new types of costumes as all of mine have been armour and wearing a helmet/mask. I'd like to do a face character or even make up/prothstetics. I'm into pretty much every topic discussed on here haha so no franchises are outruled.

Jake. :)

Hi Jake,

the ones you mentioned pretty much sum up what I would think of.I'd go for the Spider-man costume, but that's me.
Besides that, for what I have come to understand is that there aren't any rules within Cosplay,so go nuts and do something unconventional. At least you'll make heads turn at conventions.
Good luck with your next project!:thumbsup

Love the clone trooper armour! I see lot's of Robin cosplayers at conventions but I don't think I've ever seen a Kid Flash represented before. The classic Kid Flash is my favourite, so that would be my "vote". Which version would you have in mind?

Cheers guys! I only really know of the one design on Young Justice haha. Haven't done much research. Are there many different versions? I'll have a look now actually.

I was thinking of going full sub dye and then backing the mask with a craft store mask so it has a bit of form. I've never seen one either so that would be cool. Haven't looked at the costume enough to really know what I have to do but I will soon. Any suggestions are welcome :)

I think youd make an awesome Plastic Man or Reed Richards.

I like the idea of doing them actually but looking at photos both of their chests are pretty big and muscley. I don't think I'd do them justice.

Maybe it's time to hit the gym and try and put on weight hahaha!

I think you've got the right build for Cyclops as well, any of the outfits although I like the newer ones best. Or how about Batman Beyond? You're the right age AND build for when Terri first took on the role of Batman..

Great ideas! Perfect :D Looks like if I have enough time after Deadpool I'll be doing a Marvel theme and going Cyclops. Later down the year I might just do Kid Flash and Batman Beyond aswell as they're amazing too. Looks like I'll have my hands full with Sub-Dye suits haha!

Just had a look and New 52 Kid Flash is so cool :D That's who I'd do tbh, plus he has brown hair too woo :)
