I know there was a thread about this recently but I could not find it. How good are they. Comfortable accurate cost?Biker

I know about the dented helmet and have been there often. Just the price from $40 and $140 is a big difference. Just wondering if the quality was that different.

There is a huge differance, Take for example some of the stuff you'll find out there: like e-bay. I won't meantion his name, but members of TDH know who I'm talking about, this person sells Helmets for $75.00, used to be $80.00, sounds good huh?... Well they're cheap re-casts with missing parts and while it may sound better then spending $100.00, it dosn't pay off in the long run.. Now if you're on a buget, then there are tuitionals in TDH that can help you out, but if your trying to buy pre-made parts, then I would advise you to save your Pennies and wait. Trust me. In the long run you'll be happy. Anyone who has a Fett will tell you that if you want accuracy, You're going to have to pay a bit for it; A Fett can run around $1,500.00 (econo-version) to $3,500.00 (Deluxe-verson) but be forwarned... this is not a suit you can build on the cheap. Hope this helps. C

I've not bought any of costume junkies stuff but i'm assuming they just come in standardised sizes for that money, i think when it comes to stuff like this it's best to go for custom fitted.

I have around $700 in my fett suit at the moment and its nowhere near finished :lol The Dented Helmet is the place to go :thumbsup

Stay FAR away from costumejunkie. The guy is a fraud. He continues to try to sell a fake superman suit as a screen used one, which came from Armando Alvarez.

I have to echo what the others have said.
Go to TDH
Do your homework
Buy with confidence.
You'll be happier in the long run - even if you do spend 3 times what you planned.

Nathan’s right, TDH is the place to go, excellent resource for all the necessary reference, components, and information required to put together an exceptional Fett like the one featured below.;)

Only one place to be...and that's The Dented helmet

Okay, one thing you have to remember about costuming, and for Boba Fett in particular, is that it's not a cheap hobby and you get what you pay for. Period.

Taking the step into Fett costuming means, taking the time to research, plan your purchases, saving up for those purchases and patience. And once you get it, depending on how it was ordered, putting it together, painting and fitting it to yourself.

This is me, and it's the result of 5 years of research and development, learning, talking to the right people and finally purchasing and building.

That said, good luck and hopefully, you'll heed the advice and we'll see you at TDH's boards.

Tim.

I got the Fett bug a few months ago and after joining TDH for only a very short time and with some help I've been able to put this together ... still have a long way to go before I have an entire suit ready but that place is simply a wealth of information:

Nice display Simmon M. Sadly mine lies in wait, as I've run out of room to display him. C
