Cosplay Suggestions

Up here in NorCal, we have the yearly Dickens Victorian Christmas Faire. I wanted to put together a Victorian Era Hydra Officer Uniform.

Any suggestions would be helpful as this would be my first Cosplay. Thanks!

Maybe research WWI German officers' uniforms? They wouldn't be as easy to find as WWII, but there should be repros. It's not exactly Victorian, but perhaps with modified cuffs / collar and some extra buttons / gold accents, you'd look a bit more 'period'?

My other suggestions would be to check your local pop culture conventions for sellers of costume coats / uniforms.

Check the Halloween stores, check eBay, Etsy, Craigslist, the Junkyard here.

Second hand stores, vintage clothing stores, Salvation Army, Goodwill, yard sales, etc.
