Man, I wish I owed all these versions. But no, I have just done a ton of research on the dragoon and every time I have found a different site with different makes of the gun or paint jobs I will note the site (most times) and copy the pics for my dragoon file.

I especially like the finish on this one, looks like a real nickel plated gun.
What would be the best finish for the harlock comodragoon for you?

I dig the nickel but my favorite is the high gloss blued steel with brass highlights. I would definitely test out whatever blueing compound I was gonna use on scrap first and then look at additional ways to finish the piece so the blue doesn't wear off. Also, tell all your Albator budies about this project run as to ensure that rgriesbeck hasn't wasted his time. Thanks dude!

Printing is going well, 4 are done, should have 6 done by the end of the week. Then I'll clean em up ans ship them out

Got mine today - holy cats this is a big gun! One part broke in shipment - that long rod - but it's an easy fix (or I could replace it with a metal rod if I have to, no biggie). Thanks for producing these - I would say they are well worth the price!

No worries - I've given it some thought and decided I'm going to replace that piece with plastic or metal tube - I would probably have done that anyway. I'm considering sanding off the screw heads and incorporating real screws as well, along with replacing the pins for the moving parts with metal ones.

No complaints - I'm extremely happy with the kit and excited that I finally have a Cosmo Dragoon that does the anime gun justice :thumbsup

Received mine over the weekend as well. Very nicely done.
I particularly like that the wood grain shows up on the gun grips. Though I'm curious if that will be removed when I sand down the typical 3d-printing "texture". Has anyone tried that yet?
I'll likely replace them with wooden grips at some point, however, until then I'm hoping that nice grain stays put!

The texture should be fine, it doesn't need a lot of sanding in that area to smoot
smooth it out. Glad you like it
