Copperhead II?

I'm intrigued by the look of the Copperhead ship from Final Fantasy SW. Does anyone know if this has been attempted at any time? Here's a pic of the toy that was released back in '02... nicely done re-paint by the gentleman...

A fellow scratchbuilder of mine had said he was going to build one at either 1/32 or even 1/24 scale. I havent spoken to him in over a year. I'll check in and see whats up.
