It say's in the backtracked blurb that the photo was taken in 1988.

too bad the studios wont sale these type of items to us collectors instead of just letting it rot....I mean if they are so not interested enough in these things to just let them rot outside, then why not sale them off to collectors and make a little money in the process.

kinda blows my mind as well...

just like SW ep2 and 3...

why didnt george commission some RPFers or the like to make and pull armor for the troopers... then old georgie coulda turned around and sold them, and made a CRAPTON of proffit off of them, or givin the proceeds to charity...

instead he "saves money" by paying CGi guys to work on a 5 second clip for 2 weeks that will be outdated by the time the thing hits HDDVD?

it blows my mind all the cars props and set pieces that are just rotting OUTSIDE even??? WTF? they could build a hollywood museum and CHARGE admission... and also it could go to CHARITY...

and ON TOPIC.... cool pic, loved the designs of the show when i was a kid.... they are a bit dated lookin now, well i still like the alien blasters. remember the episode(s) with the half human half alien babies? really creeped me out back then... :confused

I still love the blasters. I have one myself (copy) and I enjoy it still.
