This is the final design. I'll check with Clay on the proportions.

Im Giddy.
I'll second that. This is a really exciting project. Your in-progress shots on the machine had me grinning from ear to ear. :D

Great work..

This is an exciting project. I enjoy seeing the progress pics of the whole project coming together from start to finish. Can't wait to see it done.

Very nice work, Clay. :)

The only thing I'd add to the tool path based on Tim's casting is 8 edge rounds on the knuckles on either side of the words FIAT, IUSTITIA, MUNDUS, and PIRIAT, as well as 8 smaller rounds on the edges of the finger holes (4 on each side). Otherwise, those sharp edges are going to hurt when you wear the thing...

Shouldn't take more than 30 seconds to modify the CAD model. :)

I know this isnt' an interest thread but do you guys think it's possible to make a cast offer resin "kits" for those of us where the makchined one may be slightly too expensive?

My thoughts are offer both two types. Polished so those of us that would like to finish them ourselves can, and as they appear in the film which I think is a satin look with darkend details.

Hey folks,

love the knuckles ...

I can´t recall reading it here, but wasn´t the writing around the finger hols supposed to be the latin names of the arch sins ?

From Appiedmetal's site:

AMT is a patented process that seamlessly applies cold spray-able METAL to almost any surface. AMT is NOT a paint. Available in nine metals: Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Iron, Nickel-Silver, Stainless Steel, X-Metal and Z3. AMT is applied using a process that has been perfected and patented. AMT gives almost any material the appearance of being a solid cast metal object without the weight. The patented AMT spray-able and cast-able metals allow a thin layer of 95% pure metal to be applied over any substrate, in virtually any design or configuration. AMT looks, feels and acts like hot-cast metal, yet there is no heat used in the process.
