Conical doohickies and greebles?

I have a few pieces I am working on that require conical greebles, sort of similar to an Assault phaser emitter.

For example, the end piece of this VOY medical prop.

Interestingly, it looks like the tail end of this piece is a TOS p2 emitter nozzle without the tip!

I have had trouble finding such shapes. Any ideas are welcome. They don't need to be made of any particular material, and could be aluminum, plastic, or wood.

Here are some other similar shapes I had difficulty with:

two suggestions:

- Use furniture feet found in various sizes and materials in most craftstores

- Use hifi "vibration dampers/ spikes" (don´t know how they´re called), the things you put under DVD players, receivers etc. They also come in various heights and materials.
