Concept vehicle

This was designed by wanting to use my workplaces laser cutter. So I came up with the skinless vehicle concept.

Man, that ship looks awsome. :eek When I look at it all can hear is "YOU are the navigater." Its shame to hear it didn't survive, but at least you still have the parts and the pics.

That is simple beautiful. Wonderful work Cobywan.

The pattern on the bottom is now the theme to my website. What I did was to draw up the paint pattern in AutoCAD then in Rhino I "pulled" it to a sphere the same size as my model ball. Then the deformed curves were pulled apart and and layed out for lasercutting.

It worked like a charm. I was surprised.
