A project i was working on a couple years ago but stopped due to course committments i had to stop the project.
Images on my blogger page Mechanical Mischief!
[i realise i spelt mischief wrong and feel like a fool for doing so!]
I began with producing the technical drawings from a thumbnail concept, then building a card maquette before working in resistant materials. I realised part way through that the model was too thin to what was needed, as a result a second maquette was produced to work out how wide the ship had to be, i was at the point of producing the whole thing from styrene (some shapes cut for it) before i had to stop.
As ive progressed in skills over the time of being at university, including my skills with CAD i am planning to produce all the components in CorelDraw and get them lasercut to finally complete the model. Hopefully this post will become a WIP of that project!
