This Design is by Eddie Del Rio, concept artist for Lucas film. I havent decided on what size its going to be. but im thinking the bigger the better. This will be all styrene construction.

Ok Got a bunch of stuff on this. scaled it all out in Cad. and started lasering some parts. also some Solid works for the ring.

First I cut the wings and there plating.




Next I lofted the long nose section for lack of a better name. cut the top and bottom and inner structure for a rod.




And put together with the Rod.



And heres the ring Printed out.



And a sloppy mock up

This is going to be great, I love Concept Ships, I visit often for future ideas. Mind if I ask what make and model laser cutter you use, looks like a time saver for sure.

Its a versa laser. 50 watt. 12x24. With an external exhaust system.

I actually should of mentioned that this model is also for the concept artist. He has a some other designs i hope to build after this one.

I actually have the front done. but waiting to post pics until i get the the support structure built. i had to map out a few other parts before i could get that built.
