The two part system is a great occasion to have the top half be a hard helmet, and the bottom a softer material like latex.

TDK belts can go for thousands these days on eBay! Glad I found this file, although I know putting it all together would be quite a task

But I’m considering a bit of a more practical look, harness an all:

A harness would have the added benefit of making the cape maybe easier to attach, as well as shoulder armour possibly.

When I was working on mine I saw a lot of "tactical" stuff that would make a great costume. I think this stuff combined with different STL files could work out really well.
