comic style spider-man mask

Hi all,

Forgive me if this has been covered. I looked for past threads but could not find any.

I have a pretty good comic style spider-man costume. I am looking to finish it off with a mask. I have seen some great tutorials on how to cut shape and sew the mask, but I have been having difficulty with the webbing. The costume has 2D webbing. Any recommendations on putting similar webbing on a mask? I tried a sharpie but it bleeds a lot and I felt pretty loopy huffing the ink.

You could probably ask one of the guys in the junkyard selling spidey outfits if they could send you a file for just a mask. But then you'd have to get it printed and sew it up, which may present a whole different set of problems. Otherwise I'd try the fabric paint route. Maybe you could mask off the lines first so you can get them nice and sharp? Just a suggestion. Good luck!

Hey, you sid you have some tutorials to cut, shape, and sew the mask. Could you post links to those, please?
