So what did you all think of Dr Who last night??

Personally I really enjoyed it, but looking on the Who forums today, theres alot of criticism about it, comments about it not fitting with the Whovian Universe!! personally I think people have not quite got the point of it being a Comic relief sketch

I thought it was great, well written and a good little skit, the problem with some of who fandom is they have a rod up there backsides, if its not creaky sets and overblown dull storys they aren't happy.

I Haven't seen it yet. Possibly thinking about watching it later but I'm a Who newb and wanted to start from seaosn 1. I was thinkgin about buying them since half of them I can't download but I don't understand the way the dvds were realeased. anybody got an idea so I cna start getting the entire series?

I just watched the very 1st episode and it wasn't that bad.

By very first, do you mean circ 1960 or 2005?

If you want to watch the WHOLE series from the start, it's going to take a LONG time :)

I thought the skits were clever, not as endearing as "Time Crash", but that was pure shameless nostalgia. But hey, it was a little quick fix and it was funny, so why complain?

I wish they had the time/budget to do a whole cheaper, TARDIS bound full episode like that for Red Nose Day and Children in Need when the main DW series isn't normally on the air. I guess we are lucky to get the Christmas special, but 14 total episodes a year makes the other 38 weeks rather dreary...

I'm not a big fan of the new Doctor yet and I am sick of Amy Pond saying things like "It's about to get complicated". However I really liked it and the skirt was a good touch. Could have been shorter though.

The look from Rory on what he would do with two Amy Ponds has entirely redeemed his character in my eyes.

Also, keep in mind that the Doctor is a genius, well, he makes a genius look like an imbecile. So, when he knew that part of the time line involved Rory getting slapped by Amy, he knew exactly what he was setting in motion when he turned to Rory and said 'what would you do with two Amys?'

So, the Doctor wanted Rory slapped.

Loved it. I really enjoyed this and the little Tardisodes on the DVD set. So fun to have these little extras.
