Colonial Marine BDU assistance?

I've looked all over and I've seen references to MAA PAT3 as being the best, and just about only Colonial Marine movie replica BDU out there. Sadly most the places that reference this particular item also link me to sites that no longer exist.

Anyone out there that could help me out finding a way to get access to some of these bdu.

I hate to break this to you, but unfortunately MAA (Men-At-Arms the maker of the 3PAT) closed down his business as of Feb this year. There are currently NO makers of screen accurate USCM BDUs.

Although there was talk of a fellow Aliens fan member taking over his business, nothing has come of it to this day.

Your only hope for now is to get a second hand pair.

There is a possibility of him remote ordering from Taiwan.

Currently MAA is working on squaring up all pending orders,

so I wouldn't bug him with any new orders at the moment.

Last time that I spoke with him, open bdu orders were shipping

mid July.

I'd settle for Safariflage if I could find a place that actually has any in stock =/ -- Anyone have other suggestions? Trying to get my hands on something (does not have to be screen accurate, just look good with some armor that's flat green)

Safariflage is unavailable too. What we've had many Colonial Marines us is MultiCam. Colors are fairly close to 3pat and it comes with the mandarin collar already. It looks pretty darn good with the armor!

Some USCM costumers use MultiCam as an alternate.

Try the Polish Desert BDU. Closest I've found to SA and there's a couple of places you can order it from in the UK. You'll have to do the mandarin collar yourself, but it is an alternative.

Glad to see that somebody else out there has also seen the Polish desert camo and noticed its resemblance to 3pat. Pity it's not readily available in the States, otherwise I'd be seriously tempted to buy a set and start a Colonial Marines costume.

Military 1st has them advertised on their site. You can't order from their site from outside the UK, but if you e-mail them you can order them that way and pay via PayPal.
