We even have laws on the books where you can open carry with no license. There have been multiple lawsuits and class actions against cities that have denied gun owners entry to public events.
They need to do what San Francisco Comic Con does, vet each individual before admittance is allowed if they really want to allow for proper security. Anything less is feel good security.
