Hey guys, I was looking around and thought that it be sooo cool to own one of these beauties. Do you guys think anyone can make these? They are pretty detailed but hey, If I can get any pointers how to make this, this will be a WIP thread. Here's a picture..

Interesting design, very retro, I like it! Will be watching this thread with interest! :cool:thumbsup

BUT... what is "COD WAW"?!? :confused

I believe, but could be wrong, that it is Call of Duty: World at War. A video game.

Yes, the Ray gun in CoD 5 is used in the Nazi Zombies portion..it's essentially the ultimate weapon in the first zombie map (insta-kill)

I always think about this becoming a prop since alot of members here are into the whole ray gun collecting thing.

The game also has another gun with the same style on another map, I forgot the name but it shoots out like lightning?

I'm LOL'ing at the flame details on the front most fin :lol

I can send you some pictures, shouldn't be a problem.

Yes COD WAW Stands for
Call Of Duty 5 World at War...

Haha, if you didn't catch the ray gun, it's because you didn't play Nazi Zombies.

The other lightning gun you missed is called

"The WonderWaffe" Here is the best picture I could get..

Hey man if you could do it, I'd sign up!! We could start an interest thread..

The wonderwaffe I could imagine being difficult plus way way expensive..

I'm working on a Raygun right now. I stumbled onto this site trying to find a reference pic I lost. I'll post some pics and let you know how it turns out.

I'll have to forward this to the artist who made the ray gun. He'll get a kick out of it.

You have to make sure the front hinges open, so you can properly reload it (with D-cell batteries).

I'd love to have a Ray Gun or Wunderwaffe. Nazi Zombies is the greatest level known to man. I'm really hoping they release a full retail version, since they never got to finish the story...

It'd go great with my Perk-a-Cola's though. You guys should check out pepakura models. Someone must have done these by now..

It's so great to see someone taking a stab at the ray gun. How did you go about making it? What size is yours? Do you have anything more done with it or more photos? I've been working on the idea of making one myself, so any help would be wonderful. I really want to see your's finished!

Been awhile, but the idea is still with me! I can't do it, I'm a simple run of the mill guy... No CNC machines. It be cool for this to be the research center on how to make one of these... Maybe I can post a picture of the upgraded Ray too.. any ideas??
