I'm loving the sculpt along with those glass eyes this is going to be sweet once painted as well I'm sure you shoudl get those eyes as contact lenses from 9mmsfx.com they have them.

sorry to hear your mouldings been put back dood.......have you finished the sculpt completely yet or are you still tweaking?.....if it's the latter....be good to see some update pics

Not so much tweaking, just added the quill holes and (attempting) to sculpt a set of teeth and mandibles - kinda of trying to make razor edge versions for the upper mandibles but still deciding on the lower ones, defiantly P2 style however lol Will post some update pictures tomorrow me thinks lol

Ok guys and gals, a day late (my apologies), as promised here are a few snaps of extra bits that I have done on the sculpt.

Quill holes added and started a design on a new set of mandible teeth making the lower ones longer and the upper ones more razor like

Next, you may have already noticed lol, I have added in an extra smaller tooth on both lower mandibles. I made then slightly long and was left with alot of extra area to play with and thought and tooth would like good in its place.

I have also been working different styles of mandible teeth, recently I came across the AVP Elder inscriptions and decided to give it a go. The only issue is that AVP mandible teeth seem to be mainly based on P1 but its not too difficult to make the adjustments to P2. From now, however, I have made the original Elder lower tooth.

This was only a rough out but thought I would throw it in here and see what people thought.

Ok, long time no update.

I have now brushed this over to get rid of all the imperfections, make the lines tidier and tiny bits of 'clingon' clay using a paint brush and 99% alcohol and it worked a treat. Am I now ready to call this 100% complete.

Also - I have FULLY ordered all moulding materials and should be turning up in the week - Easter Bank holidays have caused delay.....

Back with a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay belated update lol

I have now finished the mould which had its problems through out but managed to over come them - one of them near fatal to the whole thing.... long story but I have now got the first pull

I will be moulding the teeth and mandibles on Monday hopefully being able to cast them by the end of the week

Congrats on the newborn mask, i bet you feel like a proud father lol.

The pulls will get better after a couuple, as any sharp edges will dull slightly and any small bits of clay you missed will come out.

Random question, anyone know the best way to glue rare earth magnets into the mask? I was thinking superglue but you guys are the masters....
