Cobra Kai Karate Kid tv comedy sequel

i am so f"n excited, i was smiling the whole time awhile watching this trailer. I am such a huge fan of Chozen and love what they did with his character. i can not wait to see him again.
 
I’m HYPED for this.

Alright everyone, serious question…do you think when they were pitching this, they had any clue that it would become the hit it has? I mean, I was looking forward to the first season when it was first announced, but I had no idea how amazing it was going to be. This has legitimately become one of my favorite shows.

If they didn’t have Zabka on board I don’t think the show would do as good as it has

To me, he makes the show

I doubt it.

When I first heard about it I thought it was gonna be a trainwreck. I saw that sentiment echoed a lot at the time.

When the 1st teasers and trailers dropped, I couldnt get at it soon enough.
 
I doubt they expected it to be as good as it became. Its really a testament to the writers and creators that they were able to pull pff something multimillion dollar corporations *cough* Disney *cough* struggle and fail to do.

It is very clear that the creators are fans of the movies, know their stuff, and love the original characters.

It's going to be so much fun! I can't wait. I really thought this show would be horrible before it came out. Such a great surprise!

I am interested in seeing how Chozen will play out (I hope they dont do something like Chozen was actually still bad all along).

I am fearing a little that there are starting to be too many big players in the pot but will need to see.

I sure hope not as well, I really like him turning his life around

But still being a bad ass.. he reminds me of vegeta

True. I also found Chozen to be interesting in that he is a 'true' successor to Miyagi-do by learning its secrets that Daniel never got the opportunity to learn such as the pressure points move. Miyagi-do can also be more aggressive than the version Daniel learned so Chozen can either be a big addition or not really meld with the new kids.

Exactly!! Chozen now has the most experience miyagi-do wise, and I think he’s not afraid to hurt someone lol

I so badly want to see him vs silver

I still think we will learn that at one time.. Sato was the one who trained Kreese’s military Sargent…
 
This show is too good.

I know this show has no fatalities (given is ultimately a show about teaching kids karate) but why do I get so hyped from every fight?

Looked into the creators and their work is pretty good but seems to focus on sex comedies and Harold and Kumar. One thing is for certain, the creators have worked together very frequently.

Netflix made a genius move buying this IP for their platform. I cant say if this is better than the Boys but both are just amazing shows.
