Cobra Baroness

Come on man, her husband IS on the forums here. We are trying to be good :lol

I'm sure her husband is smilling knowing he's got more than a picture. Her photos aren't too bad, not much different from what you would see at the local mall or a rave. Pretty tasteful actually. And everyones being polite in their comments.

Hey now, that post was before she completed the Baroness outfit. :lol

Tell ya what - if MY wife wore outfits like that I'd be spending less time typing too! ;)

But her hobby is scrap-booking, and her outfits she wears while doing her hobby are - well - just not the same!

Okay the completed costume absolutely rocks!

The "after hours" pics...

Well thank you for that too! :love

And thanks to both of you for being so cool about it! :thumbsup

I'm sure right about now she'll begin mentioning her youngest sister with the 38Ds for you, slave1pilot. :lol

Back to the serious costume discussion for 2 seconds. We're thinking of possibly making connector straps between the chest and back armor out of the same type of shiny pvc material like the gloves and boots are, just to give it a little more something.

Now the gloves and boots material gloss does match each other exactly, but it doesn't match the same "shade" of gloss that the armor is painted in. So, would it look weird having that shiny gloss pvc material between the two "flatter gloss" armor plates? Should we just stick with the normal flat black elastic strips we're using currently?

I'd say yes, if I'm reading the pics correctly. I like that there's no easily discernible connection, and that you've got areas of gloss, flat, gloss... the shapes they make add interest and it is not so busy with detail or breaking up space, makes it easier to focus on the overall.
