Re: CNC Routed Batsuit (Updated 1/25/08) Plaster CHEST Mold Pics

Should have an update on this tomorrow.

The latex slid on me a little and didnt set up quite as well as I had expected.
It kinda looks battle Damaged, a pretty cool effect once its painted. I have learned alot and hopefully the 2nd pull will be flawless!

Re: CNC Routed Batsuit (Updated 2/10/08) First Suit Pull

Here it is the first pull.
Before you all start to bash the suit I realize there are some flaws, I also realize that only 1/2 of it is painted. It is -10 Degrees here today and I was out of Kerosene.

Any way back to the first pull some of the latex slid on me in the chest after drying and created some "Battle Damage"., This suit (flaws aside) turned out better than I ever expected, the armor is thick, the "under suit" part is thin it moves with your body and with a little trimming it is built to fit nearly anyone.

I have BootSpats, Gauntlets, and an emblem all cut for this suit.

I plan on Selling this suit, yes its not perfect but it looks awsome. The price will be lower, I just want to recoup some material. This is attaches to a .05mm wetsuit.

Well without futher delay, here it is

Well there it is, let the onslaught begin

Im no expert, but that looks awesome! I kinda like the battle damaged look!

Re: CNC Routed Batsuit (Updated 2/10/08) First Suit Pull

Jeremy,

That was a really creative way to do a batsuit. Now I think you should take the idea you've had an use it to do the movie suit. If it does this, surely with time and effort you could do a TDK suit. Good luck!

Re: CNC Routed Batsuit (Updated 2/10/08) First Suit Pull

I'd love to be that guy wearing that, at least it looks like I have enough class to hang in the fight. Great work. Asking price?

Re: CNC Routed Batsuit (Updated 2/10/08) First Suit Pull

That is extremely cool and a very unique way of doing the suit.
After seeing the pics, I guess I misunderstood. I thought the pieces would all be separate and attached individually to the wet suit. I think it would still look pretty cool. Especially if you had a dark grey we suit with the individual black panels attached, so you could see the grey in all the gaps. It seems like it would also eliminate bunching, if the pieces could flex independantly.

Either way it looks awesome! Good job!

The nice thing about this suit it the pieces can be poured seperetly!
I just wanted to pull a full suit to make sure it worked. I will be offering them both ways!

As for bunching, it really dosent, the inside pieces are so thin they collapse as you twist and turn.
Very Cool Stuff!
