Closing the eyes on Plo Koon mask

I posted this in the props forum also....I purchased a Rubies Plo Koon mask with hopes of using it to create a 1:1 bust similar to the Sideshow Maul. They eyes are cut open in the mask and I need to close them off. Any tips on what I can use that looks similar to Koon's goggles?

I would suggest pet screen. That is what I use in my mask that I wear. Make sure that you get pet opposed to regular window screen, as it has a thicker weave that fits the look better. Here are some pictures for reference.

It is the Rubies that I built an internal skeleton for and repainted.

Thanks. I have another one that I intend on building up at some point. It came in with the tusks all crooked, so I need to pull them out and reglue them before I can start. I also want to try to incorporate a drinking tube into my next one, as that is the one problem with wearing it. I can go about 3 hours without taking it off, but with a drinking system, I could probably go 5 or 6 hours.
