Re: Obi Wan ANH Saber Crystal Chamber Kit ( update 1/21/16 plz read post # 474 )

I went ahead and ordered some more springs, just a couple though! I'll let you know when I have them. Then you can PM me your shipping address and I'll send you one if you don't find it by then? Just pay postage and it's all good?

Re: Obi Wan ANH Saber Crystal Chamber Kit ( update 1/21/16 plz read post # 474 )

Does anybody have completed an install with the chamber, soundboard, speaker and battery - and would share some pictures of that? Would be great - I'm curious how it fits.

All great info and pictures - thanks:)
But I'd really like to see a picture of the internals/installation.
Did you use a chassis - or just 'put everything in there'?
What kind of speaker do you use - does it have to be a 20 mm?

Got the reworked spacer. Fits perfectly and you packed it well for the journey. Thanks for making this run a success.

Anybody have any detailed advice on how to install the transistors, preferably real ones and Romans also? The spacer under the clamp doesn't give many options!?!? Thanks.

Hey Rudy,

Just a quick heads up that my corrected chamber arrived and it fits perfectly on my real parts booster... unfortunately it won't work for a real parts grenade :(

Oh well... I guess there's a Roman saber in my future ;)

I got mine in a little over 2 weeks ago. Everything fits like a charm. Now for the electronics install.

Somebody has some tips on how to place the graflex clamp on this chamber so it sits tight and you can open the chamber? I can put the clamp on there, but it's just "hanging" loosly around that hollow spacer part...

Hi TomVDJ,

You need to run a drill through the square hole on the side of the graflex clamp where the lever is to round it out . So that the lever can turn and you will be able to tighten the clamp more. I tighten it enough so that when the lever is in the lock position the clamp won't move. When I want to open for the reveal I flip the lever forward to loosen the clamp enough to allow me to twist and open it up.

I know exactly what you mean! I'm having that same problem, along with adding real transistors to the clamp? Then there's the whole electronics issue I'm having with wiring in a Nano Biscotti V3!? I've tried to do the install 6 or 7 times now.... Trying to get it all to fit in the amount of space you have to work with is literally next to impossible!?!? The is NO room for error at all, NONE! Somebody, anybody successful with a complete finished install, please give us some answers or maybe do a step by step build log??

Awesome, thank you!! What about your transistors, what did you use to keep them on?
