I noticed that as well. It opens and closes best when the grenade is loose. When it's tightened all the way it becomes difficult to open and close. Not ideal but I have it on display open so it hasn't been an issue. I may file it down at some point.

Really like the crystal you found. Looks great.

Hey guys, if anyone is having trouble with the sliding I have an easy fix, don't sand the chamber, get a thick piece of cardstock and make a washer type ring that can be place inbetween the ring and the grenade so that way it loosens the tension.

I can post pics if needed



I had to buy a bunch of crystals too I never found one that looked good so I gave up and got that manufactured one I posted a while back.

I have received mine and cut the rod and put the nuts

It's a 3 dollar spring not a big deal and I have my reasons

No sweat off my back, I just thought it would be nice to share with everyone, but I understand that's not how everyone rolls.

If anyone in the US is looking for springs, McMaster has sizes that will likely work (6 to 12 packs) - cheap per spring. Just measure the inner diameter and length required to confirm.

I pm'ed mars and he told me right away, no problem. I guess some people are above that and want everything just handed to them like the world owes them something?

Is this in reference to me? Are you guys all 13 years old? This is Rudy's thread, if you've got something to contribute to his project then go for it, but if not, I don't see the sense in playing Mr. Superior because of a spring. I don't know you and I don't know Mars. Mars wrote to me saying he didn't want to post here and didn't want anyone he PM'd to post the details because he didn't like someone in the thread. I thanked him for his time and said I didn't want to get in the middle of a petty squabble.

It's like I'm listening to my 6 year old daughter talk about other girls in her class.

Only a 13 year old would put Mars on blast like the way you did. All he asked was that we pm him, which he made perfectly clear in his comment. So he was actually bringing something to the table to improve on Rudy's already brilliantly designed chamber in his thread. He just wanted it done in a specific way. No need to get your panties all in a wad over it!

IMO, it's post to the thread, or don't post at all. That's just common courtesy. I think you and Mars have already made my point perfectly clear. Crystal in fact.

Hey guys

replacements shold be done this week, the shop is just finishing up a job they had going before I dropped off the replacements.

No prob, any changes, additions, are more than welcome, these were basic chambers and if anyones got ideas to spruce them up by all means post your ideas, and share :)

jedimax, sent ya a pm, guys please be careful with the switches, the wires are very thin and fragile!



I'm glad most of you liked the chambers, !!! :)
