I have a prediction for the last episode...
I bet we see Moff Gideon installed on Mandalore.

Saw it last night, and wasn't terribly entertained by it. There were some neat scenes, but otherwise, it was pretty boring.
The good: Visually great. Neat seeing Maul contained in the Mandalorian force user box. Direct tie in between ROTS. How Rex was saved. Some tense scenes despite knowing that Rex and Ahsoka will make it (that is not a spoiler).
The bad: Blade Runner tones that while fit the tone of the episode, just don't work with Star Wars. IF it makes me think of something other than Star Wars, it's a fail. Maul, dumb droids scene, and actually pretty boring and underwhelming.being captured by Ashoka only to be released by Ashoka for such a weak reason
I Think that ultimately, it will play better as a full movie rather than individual episodes.Episode had no plot advancement at all, it was just nothing but action. It was still VERY good and I enjoyed it. Ahsoka's involvment in order 66 felt rushed though.
I think Aayla might have been hampered by being shot in the back by surprise.
Clones were behind Ahsoka as well. Also clones were behind Yoda.
The problem goes back to Revenge of the Sith and possibly even to Attack of the Clones and how poorly those movies were planned in the script with the Clones. Actually, I watched the first part of Revenge of the Sith on TV a few days ago. And I still can't believe how bad it is. It reminded me of what that funny video by Retroblasting says when he says "doesn't matter to them" about all the stuff in the sequels. That Star Wars to a lot of people might just be the Star Wars music, space ship battles, and lightsaber fights.
Anyway, Hot Toys teased some Clone Wars stuff so hopefully we will get an Ahsoka figure. I would love to get an Ahsoka statue from Sideshow Toys. But I have their Shaak Ti statue (and Aayla for that matter) so I'll be ok I guess with the two female Jedi statues.
Or just simply had to survive for ESB to make sense....
Wookieepedia does, with references. There's missing data in the canon to establish the entire throughline, but it's mostly there. Her original death at the hands of Grievous on the Invisible Hand in front of Obi-Wan and Anakin was filmed -- and decided against -- early on. An EU Jedi was slated to take her place in the Council scenes, but that was reversed when the death scene was cut, and another scene with her after Palpatine's rescue was filmed. But Grievous had her lightsaber on Utapau. The decision had been made to instead have her die at the Jedi Temple, but it never went beyond animatic. She's meditating, Vader walks in, she asks what he wants, and he stabs her through the back. They also mentioned Shaak Ti involved in recovering Palpatine. For those that don’t know, she was originally filmed killed by Grievous on his ship. In the last episode of the Clone Wars shorts (no longer canon even before Disney) that aired before right before the premiere of Revenge of the Sith they showed her perusing Grievous to his ship. Again for those that don’t know, she was also filmed being killed by Anakin at the temple. Later her death was part of The Force Unleased story line which is now non canon. I’m not sure what the official death is as the Star Wars databank does not say anything about her death.
To be fair, Grievous also has Anakin's AND Obi-Wan's lightsabers during his duel on Utapau as well - WHILE he's dueling Obi-Wan. Not to mention the lightsabers each switch between blue and green throughout the duel. I don't put much stock in identifying the original wielder Grievous took the saber from based on the lightsabers he has in hand at any given time.Which just left the matter of how Grievous got her lightsaber. So having mention of her being involved in the boarding of the Invisible Hand ties that together. It just leaves, now, the question of how the heck she got off the ship.
