CLONE WARS weekly discussion thread

IMO, Kennedy has the corporate background. Filoni is a creator. Dave probably wouldn't WANT that kind of hassle if he's like most creative types.

I think Favreau would be a better choice to navigate the minefield of both sides of that coin.

100% agree with ya, this is why KK should say “dave, I give you all creative control, being Star Wars back, I’ll sit back and take all the credit. Redeem us please”

What got me was the fact that these recent episodes take place DURING EP3. I had no idea untill Obi-wan mentioned Dukoo's death. All this is happening when viewing EP3

MIND BLOWN!

You must have missed the line and the reason Anakin and Obi couldn’t go with Ahsoka. They mention the attack on Coruscant and the taking of Palpatine Which is the lead in to ROTS.

Speaking of which, they also mentioned Shaak Ti involved in recovering Palpatine. For those that don’t know, she was originally filmed killed by Grievous on his ship. In the last episode of the Clone Wars shorts (no longer canon even before Disney) that aired before right before the premiere of Revenge of the Sith they showed her perusing Grievous to his ship. Again for those that don’t know, she was also filmed being killed by Anakin at the temple. Later her death was part of The Force Unleased story line which is now non canon. I’m not sure what the official death is as the Star Wars databank does not say anything about her death.

On Mortis, when Anakin is shown his future. He sees Shaak Ti being stabbed through the chest. Is the implication is he's killing her?

WICKED!!!!

you know I’ve lost the love for Star Wars after ep8, ep9 didn’t even care to go.. resistance I watch 2 or 3 episodes and said heh...

Mando is awesome but I can’t connect..

But now, now the clone wars has got me back in deep..

I freak’n love what they have done.. Park in the Mo-cap suit was genius!!

Right away when they started dueling you can literally SEE ray park!!

Totally amazing and this should be considered a historic event in Star Wars. Having a actor come back 20 years later reprising his role in animation..
