Screw Simon Pegg. Wasn't the accepted logic behind not casting the original Dath Maul voice that he and Pegg slagged off TPM publicly shortly after it opened? So very very tired of Pegg going on and on about how bad SW is now. He should have had the decency to decline base on artistic objections.

Great episode last night. Loved the Cantina scene too. I kinda still like the heavy Dengar, but since this would have been over a decade I would think it right that he be much trimmer as scene in the episode. The Aussie accent was a nice take.

I haven't read this thread, so I don't know if it was covered but was that the official story of why Serafinawicz wasn't used? He hates the film, no doubt, so I just assumed that he declined.

It's been over 10 years, I can't believe a C-list actor would turn down a voice gig if offered - just look at Pegg (ummm..."zing"?). I doubt that it's the "official" story, but it makes absolute sense. When it was officially announced that Wittweir was voicing Maul, TFN ran an article explaining why the casting change wasn't much of a surprise. I remember (incorrectly?) the link ran to the public posts between Serafinawicz (?) and Pegg. Given that LFL is (quite rightly - don't **** where you eat, morons) known to completely cut out actors who **** them off by slagging off projects they've been involved with makes sense. Look at Neeson - by all accounts was not too excited about returning under Lucas, but was asked back for the Mortis episode.
Also will say that Pegg as a voice actor blew. There was nothing special in that performance which couldn't have been provided by Tom Kane or another actual voice performer.

It was pretty good. I don't know why the made Boba have a different helmet other than to make more toys. He's like 16 now right, so why wouldn't he just wear Jango's helmet? Well everybody assumes he used Jango's armor, but presumably at some point Mandos get their own armor. So maybe Boba has his own. It also looks like they may turn Assaj Ventress around. I don't know how far they will go, but she's definitely less ruthless in that episode.

Correct....which is something that always bothered me. No way would he sacrifice his Father's helmet to kill Mace. I just don't buy that.
(though, this is coming from someone who could care less that Boba turned out to be a clone, and also isn't bothered with Midichlorians....so what do I know?)

The way I figured it, if Jango had more than one jet pack, he can have more than one helmet. He seems to me like the type who would have spare equipment.

I liked Boba's helmet a lot. Wasn't nuts about another "fighting on a train" episode. The second half of this season isn't grabbing me quite the way the last part of three did. I'm feeling a bit of "same ol same ol" blues.

I personally dont think Clone Wars is doing Boba Fett any favours, he always seems to be outwitted, so far away from the original movie incarnations which were just darn cool and smart.

I like the fact that you see Boba getting knocked around and learning the ropes. No reason he should be some sort of badass right off the bat. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
