Clone - Fleet Trooper

I have started on my Fleet Trooper for this year. I would like to go to Celebration 4 in it, and I will have it ready for other events like the local Sci-Fi Expo in Dallas, and the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination in Fort Worth. My helmet is mostly complete, the suit is trimmed, and I am starting to paint and weather. Basically all white with grey shoulder bells and grey striping detail.

Here is my lid...

I will update as I get more done.

Great work; would you mind sharing where you got the shoulder straps. This look great.. :thumbsup

Thanks everybody, I will answer in sequence...

Weathering... yes, a bit more, mainly small black scuffs. But since these are fleet troopers, their weathering would, theoretically, be similar to boarding Imperial troops on Tantive IV in ANH. Make sense? I could be wrong... but I am going for it.

Chase. Thanks Bro, you are the coolest.

Thanks, thanks, and thanks. The metal is less about it being metal, but the residual contact with shrapnel and metal (since it is supposed to be plastoid). I like a touch of metal to add dimension versus just plain flat black scuffs. Pencil graphite dust is in there too... I am digging that pretty much.

I can get those straps. I have a few on hand. I have three types. I will post pics tomorrow if I can. Those are resin.

I just finished the shoulder bells too, pics tomorrow as well.

Night Brothers.

John
