Clockwork Orange (1971) Serum Label

Can't recall if I mentioned this before, but I made a label for the serum bottle. The clear liquid in a syringe bottle is injected into Malcolm McDowell's character Alex as a part of the Ludovico Protocol in "A Clockwork Orange" (1971). Screen grab added so you can see what I mean.

Just for fun in case anyone needs it! Enjoy!

Found the accurate bottle!

Just search for 30mL 20mm sterile glass vials online. Just pried it open, filled it with water, glued the label on it and voilà!

The label says 10 mL but as you can see, my 30 mL bottle is accurate to the screen-used one. Size is correct as well; as compared to the nurses' hand that's seen next to the bottle.

I also took the liberty of recreating the accurate typewriter font -- hope I'm not stepping on your toes, Snouty. I used a scan of real typewriter text to recreate it since digital typewriter fonts always look too clean / not analog enough. If anyone would like the printable file, please PM me your email address.

Very nice reproduction, here is a real props faithful in every way, not a vulgar replica copy / paste realized without great talent by people taking to the great !! Congratulations for this beautiful reproduction.

Hey, no problem, good work. Send me all the things!!! :)

Great job!! I went down this path as well but never got around to finishing it. The serum vial that is shown in the still from the movie is most likely a 50mL and not a 30mL (wider body, look closely at the relationship of the size of the seal to the vial body in both photos). I have all the vials and the tooling to seal them (long story, several other props).

The notation for "1500 I.U. in 10mL" refers to the amount of active compound in 10mL of solution that is given as a intramuscular injection in units (I.U.) rather than the actual volume of solution contained in the vial itself.

This is the best repro that I have seen to date. There is a font called "Splendid" that has the correct 5 and is not super smooth (took me forever to find it, but still was not exact). Glad that someone beat me to the punch on finishing this one.. Are you willing to share the custom font? I would love to add this prop to my personal collection.
