Clerks 2

Like what, Pillow Pants?
Kelly's bondage gear?

I laughed so hard in that movie,
I peed a little.

I'd buy a replica egg log....

Kevin Smith is selling Randal and Jay's tee shirts, and the nametags on his site (viewaskew.com). I wouldn't mind a Mooby's shirt/uniform, but I bet Hot Topic gets these before long. What other props are there that you might want? I think my wife has Silent Bob's boombox in her mom's attic :lol

Does anyone maybe have the graphic for the "Nails" cigarette box that was in the background at the Quickstop?

Wow, that's funny, the name tags are what I wanted. LOL, but I found jay's "GOT ******?" shirt on ebay. I was thinking about making a mooby hat (the one that has horns and eyes) that elias wheres. And I was gonna buy a donkey and find a fat guy to dress up in bondage gear to re-create the scene from the movie 24/7 in my room...but that seems pricey... lol I wish the name tags came with different names or like you could buy a set of all their tags or something. There isn't even a thing to enter in your own text/name. O well, That can be fixed. I am going to get a mooby's shirt...and possibly some other things. I love that site, I didn't even know they had stuff to buy on there... Damn, i feel a prop spree coming on... i Hate being a junky.

Actually, View Askew is also selling the Mooby's workshirt.

You'll be wanting this site: http://newsaskew.com/filesaskew/

Zip down to 'Miscellaneous Files' and you'll see there's some 'Nails Cigarettes' files there already for you.

Also lots of other goodies on that page.

Thanks Zev, I'm always looking for paper props and this one's a got a nice bit of satire to it.

That's funny this thread pops up, I was looking for Nails cigarettes yesterday. I'm not keen on the way the graphics are presented though, I'd rather print off one piece that assembles like an actual box of smokes so I'm going to retool those graphics a bit. Anyone got tips on how to make the box as realistic as possible?

Also, note on the shirts. The Ranger Danger shirt from View Askew is short sleeve but the film version is long sleeve. I'm trying to get a run of long sleeve ones together in the junkyard (shameless plug).

As far as the Mooby's nametag I just bought some stick on vinyl lettering and that did the trick.

On the box version they have posted, the View Askew productions logo is on there...can anyone confirm if thats on the Clerks 2 version or not? I'd like it as close as possible to the original

No idea. I don't like the x-ray on the back though, that seems a little too out there, even for Smith. EVERY cigarette box I've seen has an identical front and back so that you don't have to worrying about facing them when you stock them. Under that notion the graphic I've completed reflects that.

12 years later and the real Qwik Stop hasn't changed at all. I was there last night and snapped this:

Heh, interesting. The mysterious door between the two stores does exist. I thought it was an invention from the comics.

Hey, would anyone be able to get a decent shot of Dante's wristwatch? From the few glimpses I got, it looked very familiar...

Best way to replicate the box is just go out and buy a pack of smokes. Unfold the box and use a flatbed scanner to scan the box in photoshop or something similar. Then you can scale the grahics to fit the box or vice-versa. Or you can use the box as a template to make your own from heavy cardstock.

Just wanted to spread the word that I picked up a special "gift set" of the DVD at Best Buy for 39.99 and it came in the "Happy Meal" Box with a nice quality nametag, cup, & hat. I like them - there is nothing really on them to give away that they are not the "real" thing (no big movie company logo or anything like that.) :D

Cool . That's the first I have seen of that set. I like it. Huge fan of the movie, and Kevin Smith in general. :thumbsup
