Cleaning Lightsabers Question

Is there a good cleaner to clean lightsabers. I handle them often and want to clean them once in a while.

I'm also wondering if it would be a good idea to treat the rubber parts with something. Maybe 303 ??

Thanks

Bump for thoughts

Stainless steel cleaner
or basic windex. I don't see the need to spend too much money on cleaning materials.

basic armor all for the rubber parts. I would use the armorall first as it will leave a residue on the metal, then wipe the metal down witih a clean rag and windex

ARMOR ALL Protectant is a water based silicone emulsion specifically
designed to protect and beautify polymeric materials such as rubber,
plastics, vinyl and automotive-grade finished leather.

Make sure the battery is out or the crystal is removed. Easy way to lose a hand, cleaning a charged saber!

I don't like armor all, as I find that, unless it it applied regularly (like, weekly) it will dry out and crack plastic and rubber pretty badly.
My experience with it has been on car parts though and perhaps the formula has changed since I abandoned it, years ago.
303 is great stuff, or so I have heard, I haven't even seen it in many years either!

There are lots of cleaners though in your auto parts stores, for chrome, stainless, plastic. Which parts were you having concerns about?

303 is still the best stuff. I used it for years after armorall destroyed my dashboard years ago. I have to order it though. Knowone local ever carries it. I spoke to someone at the local Autozone and even though they did not carry it the guy recommeneded 303.

Thanks for the tips guys

The whole thing. But for sure I'm gonna go ahead and use 303 on the rubber parts. I really worry about them drying out over time. Otherwise just something to clean the fingerprints off from time to time.
