As I remenber, this was on ebay a few years ago. It shows up every now and then. It obviously made it's way to the UK this last time. I think it was in southern CA when it started. Yes, it is street legal. Unfortunately, it was built onto the worst base car imaginable, the 88' Ford Escort

From what I heard, it is going to get an overhaul and made screen accurate by a reputable company across the pond.

I don't see how they could do that without starting over from scratch. It's a lot larger than the "real" speeder--as is an Escort frame. Owel, best of luck to them.
