LOVE IT!

I might say to add a bit of weathering so it doesn't pop so much. But I'm really loving the nice contrast your build has so far.

Thanks! I don't know if i'm going to weather the belt though, I feel like the whole costume is too "clean" to pull that of. If the hoody had tears in it that would work. But since I chose to go with smooth edges on the hoody, making the lenses without frames, sewing on spiders instead of spraying them, and so on, wouldn't weathering stuff result in too much contrast?

That's a good point in itself.
I think the color is spot on so, it really doesn't matter at this point haha.

Haha alright :D
Yeah I'm pretty happy with the color palette myself! I forgot to mention it but I also adjusted the ankle pouches, I put in new buckles (which I also painted silver) instead of the old dull black straps. It's a detail, but still, it looks better and it's easier to put them on, and keep them in place.

The silver was a great choice. Makes it seem dynamic and a bit more metal than plastic.

My thoughts exactly!
The only things left to do right now are the web shooters and shoes. Although I'll probably keep on improving little details here and there in the meantime.

I've had to scrap my web shooters altogether as it really clashed with my suit. I'm trading them to someone for a printed ff suit. I'm doing my shoes this week as well.
Good luck on the web shooters, when'll you start em?

Oh man that's a shame, I looked at the thread and they were really cool. Although, having another printed suit is never a bad thing.
I'm dreading the whole shoes thing actually, I've looked at other threads and just glueing soles to the suit looks so..., well, ****ty. The whole sandwiching thing looks awesome but really easy to screw up. If I screw that up and ruin the suit, I've put al that work into the lenses for nothing, since the mask isn't separate.

I'm probably going to look for web shooter materials this weekend, and get started as soon as possible!

For the shoes, I'm just wearing a 3mm neoprene diving sick inside the suit for shape and dexterity, and then adding 3-5 layers of black plast-dip on the bottom as a sole. This is what TJack and a few others do for their suits. It allows for a comic book style look.

As I was typing this my plastidip came in the mail, so if you'd like to consider my process, I'll have progress photos up in my thread tonight.

That's actually a very good idea. Haven't even thought about that. I'm definitely going to check your progress on the shoes throughout the week.

There ya go. I started on the soles since I have couple hours before my acrobatics class.

Cheers!

Any specific questions, just pm me. Otherwise, good luck on those web shooters. Consider Shapeways if you're not looking to entirely DIY.

Looks great for your build! I'm just not sure it's what would be best for mine. I think the sandwiching method would be best, to keep the clean look.

I think I have an idea for the web shooters, I've seen a lot of people using wooden dowels but I chose to go with something different. I'm going to use handles I took of some drawers, now this might sound stupid but bear with me.

These are the web shooters I'm trying to replicate,

and those handles I mentioned look something like this;

I'm drilling holes in them and then I a put stretching band through them.
I think these would be perfect, only problem is, I don't have enough of them to make 2 web shooters, and I can't remember were I got them in the first the place so I can't go and buy more.
