I'm thinking about it. but the caliber of suit them guys make are way better than mine, I only did this as a....... dunno maybe a test to see if I could pull it off, I mean don't get me wrong I think my suit is canny good and the reaction I got off everyone who's seen it thinks it's 'top notch'.... but it's now way a movie replica so it would take some convincing to get me to a show were nearly everyone else is a Predator, and that show would be frigging awesome

I started this project at the beginning of the year as a 'I'm sick of zombie fancy dress Halloween'
I never had any idea how much I would actually enjoy trying to make a full on suit.... when I finish work.... paint a bit lol
Fully hand painted though..... no airbrush n that, I am quite creative anyway, I draw, play guitar, write and record music but to make a full on costume frigging hell what an undertaking

Now my fiancée is joining in, she wants just a basic Predator costume with no removable bio helmet, no latex body suit, just my predhead mk2 with dreads and armour.........I'll post some pics of her progress soon
Ya know if she wanted a full bodysuit she ain't got time for Halloween 2012 cos it took me nearly 8 month to do.


I'm really proud of myself for giving it a go but without you guy's on here I wouldn't of had any idea so to all the hunters on here and out there

Weather it is cardboard, foamies, fabric, latex or silicone a Predator suit is a Predator suit. Spending alot of doh on a suit is fine but scratch building a suit is a great experience in thinking outside the square. Well done on your suit and welcome to the clan

Yip, we've started her suit, got the face and dreads done, started on her body but she don't want a full latex suit so were just lightly latex painting stuff, I'll post some pics soon

On my new backpack I've fitted 2 speakers, 1 in the back facing backwards and one in the Plasma cannon, Just so Pred can listen to music and have a boogie if needed, or to play pred noises

The local paper 'The Chronicle' will be doing a short story of my costume in an issue in October for the run up to Halloween and doing a video of me visiting 'Forbidden Planet' and 'The Traveling man' in Newcastle sometime soon
