Classic Ironman project

After seeing all the awesome Ironman builds that get around I've been toying with the idea of doing a suit for myself. However I want to do something that you don't see that much of so I thought I'd take a crack at a classic comic book style suit of Ironman armour
I'm using JFcustom's pep file for the classic suit and straight up I can see a few challenges with the build. The files ( as always) are brilliant but the challenge may be to still make an interesting looking suit, as visually there's a lot less going on with the classic style. Depending on who was drawing it the comic suit could look like armour or like a pretty standard spandex superhero suit with a helmet. As I'm doing a foam build obviously I'll be aiming for the former.
So on the weekend i started with a trial helmet. One of the nice things about the classic suit is that it is quite simple and should go together relatively quickly. I printed the helmet out as is with no scaling and it is slightly too small so I'll have to have another try. I can get it on my head (although there is a slit open down the back) but it's just a little tight, particularly if I want to add electronic stuff for the eyes.
Anyway, despite it being a quick throw together job to test it out i think it looks pretty good and it's worth pursuing further.
