We've been making Clapper Boards for a while now and have enough examples to show you what we can do. Currently, we're offering three different styles/models:

Standard Clapperboard:

Standard Clapperboard by Magnoli Props

This classic style clapperboard can be fully customized with any movie title, director, cameraman, etc. This particular style was popular in the 1970s and 1980s. The slate and take numbers are hand-written in chalk and can easily be rubbed off.

Hand-made, wood with printed text, metal hinge and hand-written tape strips when appropriate, then distressed by hand.

Stix Clapperboard: Stix Clapperboard by Magnoli Props
Hand-made, wood with printed text, 1" wooden "stix" clapper, metal hinge plate and hand-written tape strips when appropriate, then distressed by hand.

Deluxe Clapperboard: Deluxe Clapperboard by Magnoli Props
Hand-made, wood, entirely painted by hand (all text, lines, etc), metal hinge, etc with final distressing by hand. Can be made in multiple sizes.

All the above boards are copied from existing period clapperboards used in production. We can match particular historic boards or create something unique and fully personalized. E-mail us with your ideas.
