trying to make the vest from the Civil War promo shots.

I have acquired a Bear Tactical riot gear, mocked up where to cut it (red for cut lines, yellow for adding shoulder plates)

this riot gear is a very thick heavy strong plastic, so any recommendations on how to cut it?
I dont want to use the wrong tool or method and ruin it as it is too expensive to ruin and replace.
any help or suggestions are very welcome.

youve got the right idea. im justv gonna use eva foam or sculpt my build. i cant recall what i readc on which plastic they used, but i deemed easy enough to break out a dremel or the angle grinder with cutting wheel. just try to be accurate as possible with the shape.
