City of Ember <> Coin

This one was for my own collection. I largely copied from pictures of Howlrunner's coin, so I can't offer copies of this one.
I printed this at iMaterialise. The one side turned out beautiful. And the more complex side has some
definite print lines. Not sure if this is typical. This was my first time printing in High rez stainless steel
from iMaterialise.

looks awesome...now if we could just figure out how to get rid of these print lines....casting our coins would come out 10x better on the finish!

It could be sanded maybe? and then polished a bit to get the worn look? Maybe some weathering?

I'm pretty confident that you could get rid of most of those print lines by sanding it...would take a bit of work with steel though. That's an awesome coin, i'm jealous, hehe.

Thanks, Guys ! Yeah, I might try and sand it. I didn't know the good side could come out so good from 3D printing. If only they could do both sides so MARVELOUSLY they'd have more customers !!! :lol
