The were two companies that did the Chiggy Von Richtofen, Howling Wolf and Acme 360. Both kits were listed a 1/48th and measured 13-14 inches in length. Sadly, KIp Hart of Howling Wolf passed awat and JT-Graphics has all his molds and masters. He hasn't got to all of the Howling Wolf kits for re-release. Acme 360 is also no longer in business. The kit you have posted looks like the Howling Wolf kit. The first three images are of the Howling Wolf kit, the rest are Acme 360.

Does anyone know where I could get a high quality 1/48th scale Hammerhead model to go with this.

If I had one I would not be selling this

Thanks for this info, do you remember how much this originally cost?

Sorry no, in the $95+ range I think.

There were 5 kits available in 1/48th, BCI out of the UK, SMT, Comet Minatures, Studio 2 and one other small garage kit company. The only one still available is the Studio 2 kit and you can get it through Federation Models. Scroll about half way down this page for it;

There are some nice free 3D printable versions of the Hammerhead on thingiverse and elsewhere. Just search for "SA-43 Hammerhead :thingiverse" as their own site hasn't been functioning correctly since never. SAAB was my fave sci fi show before BSG before the Expanse. It's detailed enough of a model to make for a nice print if you have a well calibrated machine and aren't averse to some surface prep.
